The Executive Board of this organization consists of Co-Presidents, Co-Vice Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer. These offices are elected annually during the April PTC meeting.

Duties of Officers

President / Co-Presidents

The President notifies the Board and Committee Members of monthly meetings and prepares an agenda for such meetings; shall preside at all meetings of the organization and of its Board; oversees all committees, ex-officio, except the Nominating Committee, submits a proposed budget for the forthcoming year at the first meeting; maintains communication with the school principal; prepares an agenda for board meetings; and shall perform all other duties usually pertaining to the office.

Vice President / Co-VPs

The Vice President will act as PTC President should the situation arise.  VPs are responsible for completing and maintaining the member directory with the assistance of the Secretary. Vice President(s) oversee all fundraising activities and recommend ideas for future fundraisers; recruit any additional volunteers to implement programs and report to the Executive Board all fundraiser results.


The Secretary takes minutes of monthly PTC meetings; takes attendance at monthly PTC meetings; acts as timekeeper at monthly PTC meetings and keeps a permanent record of all meetings. The Secretary shall promptly distribute minutes to the Executive Board and the Principal the week after the meeting; works with the First Vice-President in organizing the member directory, keeps record of tenure Executive Board Members and Committee Chairpersons. The Secretary is also responsible for keeping and maintaining an accurate PTC membership list and distributing the email newsletter.


The Treasurer shall have custody of all of the funds of the organization, shall keep a full and accurate account of receipts and expenditures and shall make authorized disbursements in accordance with the approved budget; as authorized by the organization and Board.  The Treasurer shall present a financial statement at every Board meeting and an annual report at the first Board meeting of the school year. A semi-annual report shall be provided in February of each year. The Treasurer shall be responsible for the maintenance of such books of accounts and records.
