Centennial PTC is a group of dedicated parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff working together to support every Centennial Eagle. From funding programs, providing enriching experiences to building community and creating opportunities for our students and families, the work of the PTC is made possible because of the people who choose to be part of it.
And there is no one right way to support Centennial PTC.
Whether you donate, participate in a fundraiser, volunteer an hour, attend a meeting, share an idea, or simply show up for your school community, you make a difference.

Your financial support helps Centennial PTC provide resources, programs, experiences, and opportunities that enrich the school experience for our students.
Every donation—large or small—adds up to make a meaningful impact. Your contribution helps us continue supporting our teachers and staff, bringing special experiences to students, strengthening our school community, and funding initiatives that benefit Centennial Eagles.
Many companies offer employee matching gift programs that may match charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies may even provide matching funds for donations made by a spouse or domestic partner, or offer other charitable giving benefits.
If your employer participates in a matching gift program, your donation to Centennial PTC could potentially go even further at no additional cost to you.

Want to help raise money for Centennial without spending extra time volunteering? Passive fundraising is an easy way to support our school as part of the shopping, dining, and everyday activities you already do.
Turn everyday grocery purchases into support for Centennial! Through the Box Tops for Education program, families can earn money for our school by purchasing participating products and submitting eligible receipts through the program.
It’s an easy way to make a difference with purchases you may already be making.

Grab dinner and support Centennial at the same time!
Throughout the year, Centennial PTC partners with local restaurants for special Dine-Out Nights. A portion of participating purchases is donated back to the PTC, helping us raise funds while enjoying a night off from cooking.
Invite your friends, family, and neighbors to join you. The more Eagles who participate, the greater our impact!

Volunteering with Centennial PTC doesn’t have to mean making a huge time commitment. There are opportunities that can fit a variety of schedules, interests, and comfort levels.

PTC meetings are an opportunity for parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff to come together, learn what’s happening at our school, hear about PTC initiatives, ask questions, share feedback, and help shape the direction of our organization.
You don’t have to be a PTC board member to participate.
You don’t have to volunteer at every event.
You don’t even have to have an idea ready when you walk through the door.
Your perspective matters simply because you are part of the Centennial community.
The families who attend PTC meetings bring new perspectives, fresh ideas, and valuable feedback that can help us better understand what our school community needs and wants. The more voices we hear, the better we can work together to make thoughtful decisions and prioritize the things that matter most to Centennial families and students.

We want PTC to be a place where families feel welcomed, heard, and empowered to make a difference.
Research consistently points to the importance of meaningful family engagement in a child’s education.
Studies examining family involvement have found positive associations with a range of student outcomes, including academic performance, attitudes toward school, self-regulation, study habits, and educational aspirations. Research also suggests that strong family-school partnerships can support children’s academic, social, and behavioral development.
Importantly, family involvement doesn’t look the same for every family. It can happen at home, through communication with teachers, by participating in school activities, by volunteering, or by contributing to the broader school community. Research on school-based involvement has also found positive relationships between different forms of parent participation and student outcomes, although the strength of those relationships can vary depending on the type of involvement and the outcome being measured.
At Centennial, we believe that family engagement is about more than fundraising or filling volunteer spots.
It’s about building relationships.
It’s about showing our children that their education and their school community matter.
It’s about creating a stronger connection between families and the people who support our children every day.
And it’s about making sure that families have a voice in the community we are building together.
When families participate in their school community, they help create a culture where students see the adults in their lives working together on their behalf.
