PTC Provided Resources

The funds the PTC raises throughout the year not only allow us to host events, they also allow us to purchase supplies that will help enrich our children’s education.  Some of what we have supplied this year include:

Computer Programs:

• Accelerated Reader
• Reading Eggs
• Brain Pop
• Starfall

Teacher Stipend:

Funds are provided to each teacher in the school to purchase additional supplies for their classrooms.  These items often include books and other educational tools.

Playground Equipment:

In the Spring of 2017 the PTC provided Centennial students with a new soccer net, various balls (including soccer balls, playground balls, and basketballs) in official and standard sizes, skip hops, bean bags and sidewalk chalk.

PBIS:

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) rewards positive behavior in children.  It focuses on encouraging all students to achieve social, emotional and academic success. The PTC strongly supports this program by providing funds to purchase rewards for the students.
